WHICH MAGAZINE CAMPAIGNS

Against bank and utilities charges

OLD SCHOOL CAMPAIGN WITH BITE

Got involved with two campaigns for Which magazine:

  • one for lower utilities prices (gas, electric, water)

  • and another against bank charges (such as for withdrawing money from another cash point).

This is early 2000’s, so prior to the internet as we know it today where social networks were rather more modest in scale and at a time when most people got their news from TV and papers.

In both cases we projected video images around the city of London and at the headquarters of the major banks and utilities companies. We also gathered demonstrators in front of parliament and filmed these actions.

We delivered video rushes, photographs and press releases to all major TV stations and newspapers, most of which covered the issue.

The campaign was successful in bringing the debate to the forefront and encouraged change in both areas.
