Coordinating an international digital art exhibition in Lisbon (mostly submitted in CD-Rom) in 1999 and 2000, and co-producing it in 2001 (with Antonio Coxito – http://www.site01.net/). Wrote the exhibition brief and press releases and selected works, organised the gallery space, chaired talks, and gave interviews for print, radio and TV. (www.videolisboa.com).
A sharp editorial choice made this exhibition a pivotal reference. All exhibitions had high numbers of attendance and an extremely varied audience, increasing significantly the festival attendance. The exhibition centred on models, only possible in non-linear environments. The models approached narrative, sound and others.
Romarias was a landmark in Europe in its approach, brief and selection. It focused on experimental work, much of it announcing the backbone of Apps that are now so common for mobile phones and desktops.
